Tasks

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB 
• Responsibility for day-to-day financial accounting (general ledger, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, provisions, accruals)
• Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of accounting issues
• Preparing for and assisting with tax audits, as well as collaborating with auditors and tax advisors
• Preparation of advance sales tax returns and statistical reports 
• Support with budget planning, cash flow planning, and forecasts
• Analysis and Optimization of Accounting Processes

requirements

• Successfully completed business apprenticeship, ideally followed by further training as a financial and accounting clerk (m/f/d), preferably with a degree in business administration
• Several years of professional experience in accounting
• Excellent knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax law
• High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking skills 
• A structured, independent, and reliable approach to work 
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
