We are seeking a CIO (Chief Information Officer (m/f/d)) for our client in Möckmühlthrough direct placement. 

The gross annual salary is approximately €150,000.00—depending on qualifications and experience.

Tasks

• Development and Implementation of a Long-Term IT and Digitalization Strategy
• Advising management on all IT and digital transformation issues
• Identifying New Technologies and Opportunities for Innovation
• Managing the Digital Transformation
• Development of a Modern IT Governance Framework
• Overall responsibility for IT operations
• Management of the Infrastructure, Applications, IT Services, and Information Security Divisions
• Ensuring high availability of all IT systems
• Management of IT Projects and Transformation Programs for IT Service Management and Support
• Disciplinary and Technical Leadership of the IT Organization
• Employee Development and Support
• Building High-Performance IT Teams
• Collaboration with Academic Departments and Management
• Responsibility for the IT Budget
• Management of External Service Providers and Software Partners
• Contract and License Management
• Optimizing IT Costs and Processes
• Responsibility for Cybersecurity
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., GDPR)
• Development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
• Risk Management and IT Compliance

requirements

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant work experience
• Several years of leadership experience in a senior IT role
• Experience as a CIO, IT Director, Head of IT, or in a comparable position
• Proven Success in the Digital Transformation of Businesses
• Experience in Change Management
• Experience in managing complex IT environments
