Tasks
- Development and Implementation of a Long-Term IT and Digitalization Strategy
- Advising management on all IT and digital transformation issues
- Identifying New Technologies and Opportunities for Innovation
- Managing the Digital Transformation
- Development of a Modern IT Governance Framework
- Overall responsibility for IT operations
- Management of the Infrastructure, Applications, IT Services, and Information Security Divisions
- Ensuring high availability of all IT systems
- Management of IT Projects and Transformation Programs for IT Service Management and Support
- Disciplinary and Technical Leadership of the IT Organization
- Employee Development and Support
- Building High-Performance IT Teams
- Collaboration with Academic Departments and Management
- Responsibility for the IT Budget
- Management of External Service Providers and Software Partners
- Contract and License Management
- Optimizing IT Costs and Processes
- Responsibility for Cybersecurity
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., GDPR)
- Development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
- Risk Management and IT Compliance
requirements
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant work experience
- Several years of leadership experience in a senior IT role
- Experience as a CIO, IT Director, Head of IT, or in a comparable position
- Proven Success in the Digital Transformation of Businesses
- Experience in Change Management
- Experience in managing complex IT environments
