Tasks

• Creation, scheduling, and approval of production orders, taking into account capacity, order volume, inventory levels, production backlogs, and material availability
• Control and monitoring of ongoing production orders, as well as early detection and tracking of deviations in schedules, quantities, and capacity
• Coordination of production schedules and close collaboration with the Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and Work Planning departments
• Active prioritization of production orders to ensure on-time production
• Identifying, escalating, and tracking delivery and material bottlenecks, and implementing appropriate measures
• Coordinating and communicating schedule changes with the relevant internal stakeholders
• Ensuring a reliable and needs-based supply of materials to production
• Creation, maintenance, and updating of production documentation
• Creation and maintenance of product, bill of materials, and planning master data in the ERP system, as well as their ongoing optimization
• Processing and implementing change notices, as well as providing support for change management
• Contribute to the ongoing optimization of planning, control, and production processes

requirements

• Completed vocational training in business or a technical field, ideally supplemented by further education in production planning, production control, logistics, or supply chain management
• Work experience in production planning, production control, work planning, or a comparable field
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Proficiency in using common MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• A good understanding of production processes and the relationships between work planning, materials management, and production control
• Knowledge of working with bills of materials, work instructions, master data, and change processes
• Experience in schedule and priority management, as well as in handling bottlenecks, is a plus
• A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
• A high degree of initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills, as well as a passion for working as part of a team
• Good written and spoken German
• Good knowledge of English is an advantage
