Tasks

• Independently programming, setting up, and configuring CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines
• Machining of individual parts and small production runs to the highest quality standards
• Operating various types of CNC machines, including modern 5-axis milling machines
• In-process quality control of manufactured parts
• Maintenance, care, and upkeep of the machines, as well as the tools and clamping devices used
• Optimization of Existing Manufacturing Processes
• Assist the department head as needed

requirements

• Completed vocational training as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), toolmaker (m/f/d), or comparable technical training with relevant work experience
• Experience in CNC turning and/or CNC milling
• Proficient use of Heidenhain controls (e.g., Manual Plus 620, iTNC 530, or TNC 430)
• Ideally, experience in programming and setting up 5-axis milling machines
• Experience in machining large workpieces weighing up to 5,000 kg is a plus
• An independent, structured, and self-directed approach to work
