Job description

We are looking for a Metalworking Industrial Foreman (m/f/d) specializing in machining—turning & milling / metal technology—for our client to start as soon as possible.

In this position of responsibility, you will play a key role in our manufacturing operations. You will combine your hands-on expertise in metalworking with your ability to organize, optimize, and provide technical support for manufacturing processes.

Tasks

• Providing technical guidance and support to production staff
• Planning, Controlling, and Monitoring Manufacturing Processes
• Organization and Optimization of Workflows in the Areas of Turning, Milling, and Mechanical Manufacturing
• Setup and optimization of CNC machines, as well as support in the manufacturing of complex components
• Manufacturing and machining of individual parts, prototypes, and small production runs
• Execution of manufacturing orders based on technical drawings and customer specifications
• Selection of Appropriate Tools, Clamping Devices, and Machining Methods
• Optimization of machining strategies, setup times, and manufacturing processes
• Support in the manufacture of components for tools, fixtures, equipment, and assemblies
• Close collaboration with the design and production planning departments in the implementation of customer-specific solutions
• Support for the Further Development of Manufacturing Solutions
• Monitoring of quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish requirements
• Conducting and Organizing Testing and Measurement Tasks
• Identifying and Resolving Manufacturing Problems
• Monitoring of Machinery, Tools, and Equipment
• Coordination of Maintenance and Repair Work
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and occupational health and safety requirements
• Orientation and professional support for employees and trainees
• Active participation in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes

requirements

• Completed training in a metalworking trade, such as machining technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), toolmaker (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Advanced training to become an industrial foreman in metalworking (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in metalworking and machining
• Proficiency in turning and milling, ideally in CNC machining with Fanuc controls
• Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring equipment
• Experience with stainless steel and other metallic materials is a plus
• Ideally, experience in tool, fixture, or equipment manufacturing
• Technical understanding and a passion for practical solutions
• Structured and independent way of working

• Ability to work well with others and a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues and trainees
