We are looking for you— a machinist (m/f/d) specializing in ultra-precision manufacturing—to work on a temporary assignment for a well-known client in the Ditzingen area.

Tasks
- Manufacturing of metal optical components (mirrors) and mechanically precise surfaces
- Setup, Operation, and Monitoring of CNC Lathes and Milling Machines
- Creation of machining programs and optimization of the machining process
- Cleaning and inspection of the optical active surfaces, as well as measurement using an interferometer
- Maintenance and Care of UP Machining Centers
requirements
- Completed vocational training as a machining technician (m/f/d)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of machine programming
- Experience in ultraprecision machining—ideally with machines from Precitech, Schneider, and/or LT Ultra—is a plus
- Proficiency in using MS Office and SAP S/4HANA
- Good written and spoken German, knowledge of English an advantage
- An independent, meticulous, and quality-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work in a team and reliability
- Willingness to work shifts
