Tasks

Supporting the Lead Buyer in strategic procurement tasks and the implementation of procurement goals, while taking into account supply security and product quality

Reviewing procurement requests, as well as initiating and managing requests for proposals, including preparing requests for quotes and purchase orders

Conducting national and international market and demand analyses, as well as preparing bid comparisons

Establishing, selecting, and developing supplier relationships, including preparing for, conducting, and following up on negotiations

Identification and implementation of cost-reduction opportunities within the framework of defined guidelines

Close collaboration with the project procurement team and cross-functional teams, as well as involvement in e-procurement initiatives
requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or law; or a completed vocational training program with additional subject-specific qualificationsand many years ofexperience in the tasks listed above

A strong aptitude for technology and solid technical product knowledge

A strong understanding of contract law and a structured, legally oriented way of thinking

Very strong user skills in SAP and Microsoft Office

Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus
