Tasks

• Professional repair and maintenance of rail vehicles and complex pressure equipment
• Performing professional welding work using the MAG and manual arc welding methods in accordance with the highest quality standards
• Visual quality inspection (visual check) of manufactured and repaired components
• Precise work based on technical drawings, bills of materials, and specified work plans
• Flexibility and willingness to work a 3-shift schedule (early, late, and night shifts)

• Qualifications: A successfully completed apprenticeship in the metalworking field (e.g., construction mechanic, metal fabricator, welder) or comparable, substantial professional experience.
• Certifications in accordance with standards: Valid welder certifications in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606 for the MAG (135/136) and/or manual metal arc welding (111) processes.
• Additional Qualification for Pressure Equipment: Proven welding authorization for pressure equipment in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU), as well as compliance with the specific additional requirements of the AD 2000 regulations (in particular, Technical Note HP 3).
• Expertise: Extensive experience in the repair of rail vehicles and/or the construction of complex equipment and vessels.
• Technical Expertise: Accurate interpretation and error-free implementation of complex technical drawings, welding procedures, and work plans (WPS).
• Commitment to Quality: Experience in visual weld inspection (visual inspection in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17637) as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Work Ethic & Flexibility: A reliable, independent work ethic and a full willingness to work in a 3-shift system (early, late, night).
