Job description

We are seeking a Dispatcher (m/f/d) for our client through direct placement.

Tasks

• Focus on scheduling, domestic and international charter operations
• Handling driver scheduling and administrative tasks related to driving and rest periods
• A knowledgeable point of contact for customers in local and long-distance transportation
• Order Acceptance and Scheduling of Shipments/Loads
• Calculating freight costs and preparing quotes, including negotiations with carriers
• Monitoring existing routes against specified time limits
• Customer communication and communication between partners and carriers, both domestically and internationally

requirements

• A successfully completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding or transportation clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in the field of freight forwarding and logistics—we also warmly welcome career changers who are eager to make a difference
• The ability to grasp concepts quickly, an entrepreneurial mindset, and creativity in finding solutions
• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Knowledge of English an advantage
