Tasks
- Planning, Implementation, and Documentation of Process Transfers for Optical Functional Coatings
- Participation in change processes/change management • Determination of dispersion data for coating materials on the current coating line and the target line
- Evaluation of the coating designs developed in collaboration with R&D
- Developing Coating Strategies
- Presentation of the transfer status and results at regular steering meetings
- Preparation of approval documentation for internal use and for the relevant customers
- Creation and updating of standard operating procedure documents used during production
requirements
- A degree in engineering or the natural sciences, along with relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of vacuum and coating technology, as well as optical metrology
- Excellent understanding of complex technical concepts
- The ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new subject areas, as well as a meticulous and focused approach to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is desirable
- Proficiency in Office 365 and SAP
- Fluency in German (C1) and very good English skills (at least B2)
