Job description

On behalf of our client, one of the global market leaders in the electronics and chemical industries, we are seeking an experienced precision optician (m/f/d) or someone with comparable qualifications to join our team as a skilled worker (m/f/d) in the precision optics division at our Göttingen location as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Bevel grinding of optical components according to technical drawings and specified quality standards
• Setting up and operating the grinding machines, as well as selecting the appropriate tools 
• Monitoring the machining process and ensuring consistently high machining quality 
• Checking Chamfer Width, Geometry, and Edge Quality 
• Ensuring defect-free machining and the proper handling of sensitive optical components 
• Compliance with applicable occupational safety regulations 

requirements

•  • Completed technical training, e.g., in the field of precision optics, precision engineering, or a comparable profession 
• • Professional experience in precision optics is preferred 
• • A strong commitment to quality and high standards for one's own work 
• • A very meticulous, precise, and reliable work style 
• • Good fine motor skills and manual dexterity 
• • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration, even during demanding and intricate tasks 
• • Technical understanding and the ability to implement technical drawings and quality specifications 
• • Spoken and written German
