Tasks

• Supporting software projects from the design phase through implementation to release in close cooperation with customers
• Developing software components in interdisciplinary teams
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with existing, long-standing projects and their legacy code
• Application of diverse technologies, e.g., Spring Boot, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, web technologies, in traditional and cloud-based environments
• Testing new solutions and implementing creative ideas
• Prospective assumption of project management tasks
• Support in acquiring new customers and new subject areas

requirements

• Completed degree in a STEM subject and several years of relevant professional experience in project management
• Very good knowledge of software development with at least one object-oriented language (Java, C# or C++, Python)
• Interest in software development for multi-layered, distributed architectures
• Ability to abstract complex problems and a mathematical and scientific understanding
• Understanding customer needs and enjoying working with customers
• Awareness of quality and IT security, clean code, and software ergonomics
• Very good German language skills are essential.
