Tasks

• You are responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our LBCs.
• You will support the Head of Accounting in setting up the Accounting Department and processes such as creating uniform guidelines for our accounting systems.
• You will support our LBCs in all matters relating to the German Commercial Code (HGB) and be available to answer any questions they may have.
• You will support us in tax reporting
• You will play an active role in reporting from the HomeServe Germany Group to the parent company in the UK.
• You will work closely with the managing directors of our LBCs as well as tax advisors, lawyers, and local accountants.

requirements

• You have a degree in business administration or economics (ideally as a tax advisor or auditor).
• You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and are familiar with financial statements and, ideally, consolidation.
• You have very good knowledge of accounting and taxation.  
• You can communicate confidently in spoken and written English.
• You have a structured approach to work and a hands-on mentality.
• Ideally, you will have experience in auditing.
