Tasks
- Obtaining freight cost quotes
- Preparation of reports and calculation of freight costs
- Registration of shipments with the freight service provider and their tracking
- Maintenance of all freight files for determining freight costs
- Preparation of all necessary export documents for shipments outside the standard process
- Organization of imports and customs declarations for import shipments
requirements
- Successfully completed commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in transportation/freight management (desirable), knowledge of SAP TM/LE-Tra and GTS (desirable)
- Proficiency in commonly used MS Office programs
- Strong team spirit and good English skills
