We are looking for a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) for our friendly client in Frankfurt.

Tasks

• Accounting and closing: You will perform operational postings and maintain the general ledger.
• Preparation of our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in SAP
• Company support: After training, you will support group companies (accounting areas) in all matters relating to general ledger accounting.
• Coordination with internal departments and foreign subsidiaries
• Preparation of annual reports and financial statements in accordance with commercial law
• Contact person for auditors and tax auditors
• Compliance: Adherence to legal requirements and disclosure obligations
• Maintenance and further development of processes and quality
• Preparation of shareholder resolutions and document management, as well as submission of statistical reports

requirements

• You have a degree in business administration, commercial training—with further training as an accountant or a similar qualification
  
• You have already gained practical experience in accounting and general ledger accounting in accordance with HGB. Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• Ideally, you are familiar with SAP, especially S/4 HANA, and MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
