Job description

On behalf of a well-known customer in the Alzenau region of Lower Franconia, we are looking for a freight forwarding agent (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment arrangement.

Tasks

• Creation, organization and documentation of all shipping and customs documents 
• Transport assignment to forwarders according to order specifications incl. transport monitoring 
• Planning and coordination of collections and deliveries 
• Complaint processing 
• Order-related transport quotation requests 
• Independent operational processing of orders (land-air-sea) 
• Import of spare parts incl. processing 
• Assigning and confirming logistics invoices 
• Written and telephone communication with customers and partners at home and abroad 

requirements

• Successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), clerk (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services, or comparable 
• Professional experience in logistics/freight forwarding 
• Confident handling of MS-Office and SAP required 
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
