Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the technical management of the company and the continuous development of the technical departments
- Planning, control, and optimization of technical processes in production, maintenance, and development
- Management and development of technical teams (engineers, technicians, production and maintenance staff)
- Responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with technical standards, norms, and safety requirements
- Introduction and implementation of innovative technologies and automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Close cooperation with management and the sales, purchasing, and production departments on the strategic orientation of the company
- Responsibility for project planning and implementation of technical development projects, from the concept phase to successful implementation
- Budget and cost responsibility for the area of technology and maintenance
- Contact person for external partners, suppliers, and service providers in the technical field
- Conducting risk analyses and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Management of technical documentation and reporting to management
requirements
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable technical training
- Several years of professional experience in a senior technical position, ideally in the [industry]
- Extensive knowledge of process optimization, automation, and quality management
- Experience in leading and developing teams as well as in project management
- Technical understanding in the areas of production processes, mechanical engineering, and/or automation technology
- Experience in planning and implementing investment projects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey even complex technical topics in an understandable way
- High problem-solving skills, assertiveness, and a high degree of initiative
- Very good MS Office skills, experience with ERP and PPS systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German, English skills an advantage
