Tasks
- Processing orders and coordinating supplier communication
- Requesting quotes and price inquiries from existing and new suppliers
- Creation and management of orders and contracts
- Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring on-time delivery
- Maintenance of supplier data and supplier evaluation
- Invoice verification and comparison with orders and delivery notes
- Carrying out inventory checks and ensuring the availability of goods
- Coordination with other departments (e.g., warehouse, production) to ensure a smooth flow of materials
- Support with budget and cost control in purchasing
- Preparation of evaluations and reports on purchasing activities
- Remuneration depending on qualifications
requirements
- Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk) or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in purchasing or a related field is an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally experience with purchasing software (e.g., SAP)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when communicating with suppliers
- Reliability and a structured, independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment
- Good written and spoken German, knowledge of English an advantage
