Tasks

• Responsibility for the procurement of goods and services for all areas of the company
• Analysis of requirements and selection of suitable suppliers, negotiation of prices, delivery terms, and contracts
• Conducting tenders and comparing bids
• Close cooperation with internal departments, especially production, logistics, and quality assurance
• Monitoring and ensuring delivery dates as well as controlling inventories
• Processing complaints and assisting with quality control of delivered products
• Maintenance and expansion of the supplier network and supplier relationships
• Conducting market analyses and identifying potential for cost optimization
• Preparation of reports and evaluations for management

requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in central purchasing or a similar position
• Good knowledge of contract law and supplier evaluation
• Negotiation skills and strong communication skills
• Independent and structured way of working
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented approach to work
