Yard Management Employee (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for a Yard Manager (m/f/d) for a customer in the electrical industry at our Hammersbach site to start as soon as possible.

The position is initially a temporary assignment with the intention of permanent employment. The site operates a two-shift system.

Tasks

• Control and monitoring of all trailer, swap body, and truck movements on the company premises
• Planning arrivals and departures, assigning parking spaces, and ensuring smooth traffic flow
• Reception and instruction of external drivers, clarification of delivery and collection processes, exchange of relevant information
• Registration, document verification, vehicle inspection, and recording of all relevant data
• Close coordination with warehousing, goods receipt, goods issue, and materials planning to ensure optimal material flow.
• Empty pallet management 

requirements

• Experience working in an operational unit Experience in transport planning desirable
• Good PC skills (MS Office and common application programs) SAP skills (WM, EWM modules) desirable
• Good knowledge of English
