Job description

We are seeking several machine operators (m/f/d) for our client, one of the global market leaders in the chemical industry, at the Bitterfeld-Wolfen site for full-time shifts.

Tasks

• Operating, maintaining, and monitoring production facilities for the manufacture of synthetic quartz glass in fully continuous shift operations
• Inspecting semi-finished and finished products according to specified quality criteria
• Provide support for maintenance and servicing, as well as for repairs and troubleshooting
• Active participation in initiatives aimed at the continuous improvement of production
• Operating a lifting aid

requirements

• Successful completion of an apprenticeship as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, chemical technician, or chemical plant operator (m/f/d) and/or a similar apprenticeship in the industrial/technical field
• Alternatively, work experience in an industrial production setting
• Experience operating machinery and equipment in a production environment
• A good understanding of technical systems and processes
• Ability to work in a team, reliability and flexibility
• An independent, proactive, and structured approach to work
• Very good written and spoken German
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work full-time shift work
