We are seeking a Cost Estimator (m/f/d) for our client, a renowned company in the printing and packaging industry, for its location in Röbel. Tasks

• You serve as the link between engineering, procurement, and sales, and ensure that ideas are turned into commercially successful products
• You'll handle complex printing and packaging projects from the initial inquiry through to the final quote.
• You evaluate production processes, materials, and finishes from technical and economic perspectives.
• You develop solutions that are both cost-effective and of high quality.
• You'll work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Production.
• You coordinate with suppliers and partners.
• You identify opportunities for optimization in cost estimation and production.
• You'll be working on high-quality, often complex productions—not run-of-the-mill projects.
• You have a real impact on cost-effectiveness and production decisions.
• You work at the intersection of publishing printing and packaging.

requirements

• You have completed an apprenticeship or a degree program in printing/media technology, packaging technology, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in printing or packaging production, ideally in cost estimation.
• You have a very good understanding of materials, production processes, and finishing.
• You are proficient in using costing and ERP systems.
• You combine technical thinking with business acumen.
• You have a structured, precise, and independent work style.
