Job description

On behalf of our client, a major European defense contractor that manufactures military land systems in Kassel, we are seeking aluminum welders (m/f/d) for temporary staffing assignments.

Tasks

• Fitting and Welding of Large Aluminum Assemblies According to Drawings
• Select welding parameters according to the WPS and design requirements
• Preheat and weld assemblies according to the welding sequence plan (while keeping welding distortion to a minimum)
• Aligning the Components
• Welding in Constrained Positions and Orientations

requirements

• Completed vocational training as a construction mechanic (m/f/d), welder (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in aluminum processing
• Valid welder certifications in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-2: 131 BW W23 S t10 PA bs / 131 FW W23 S t10 PB ml / 131 BW W23 S t5 PA ssnb / 141 FW W23 S t5 PB ml / 141 BW W23 S t5 PA ssnb
• Willingness to work three shifts / ability to work independently and responsibly
• Willingness to Relocate
