As part of our direct recruitment service, we are seeking a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) for our client in Cottbus. You will be hired directly by our client on a permanent basis—we will support you throughout the entire application and placement process.

Tasks

• Independently handling day-to-day financial accounting
• Account Assignment and Posting of Business Transactions
• Processing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger Accounts
• Verification and Processing of Incoming and Outgoing Invoices
• Execution and Monitoring of Payment Transactions
• Account reconciliation and clarification of open items
• Posting and Reconciliation of Bank Transactions
• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Creation of evaluations and reports
• Collaboration with tax advisors and other contacts

requirements

• Completed vocational training in business, ideally with additional training as a financial accountant (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in financial accounting
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with a common accounting software program, ideally DATEV
• A good knowledge of German tax and accounting is a plus
• An independent, structured, and conscientious approach to work
• Numeracy and a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a team and reliability
