Job description

We are looking for a professional driver (m/f/d) for our client at the Wittenhagen location to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Transportation & Delivery: Delivery of fresh and dry goods to supermarkets, major customers, and partner stores via local regional transportation.
• Vehicle Operation: Safe operation of modern 40-metric-ton turntable trailers (equipped with double-deck and two-refrigerated-compartment systems). 
• Loading and Unloading: Independently loading the truck according to the route schedule and unloading the goods on site at the stores (using a pallet jack or hand truck).
• Load Securing: Properly securing the cargo in accordance with cold chain and hygiene regulations.
• Documentation & Processing: Reviewing and managing shipping documents, delivery slips, and return of empty containers.
  Vehicle Maintenance: Pre-departure inspection, maintenance of the assigned vehicle, and reporting technical defects.

requirements

• Driver's License: A valid Class CE driver's license with code 95 entered on it, as well as a valid driver card.
• Experience: Professional experience operating 40-metric-ton articulated trucks / refrigerated semi-trailers is a plus (turntable!) (career starters are also welcome).
• Expertise: Knowledge of load securing and handling temperature-controlled goods (HACCP).
• Work Ethic: Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-friendly attitude during delivery.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work early shifts / shift work in local public transportation (usually returning home daily).
