Tasks

• Conducting incoming goods inspections and measurements for in-process monitoring
• Initial Examinations / Final Qualifications in Accordance with Specifications
• Reviewing and Evaluating Supplier Reports
• Documenting / Archiving Measurement Results
• Use / Management / Programming of Existing Measuring and Testing Equipment—e.g., roughness tester, 3D coordinate measuring machine, handheld measuring devices
• Support with the monitoring, management, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine, measurement, and equipment inventory
• Creating deviation reports and filing complaints as needed

requirements

• Completed training in a technical profession
• Ideally, further training to become a technician or master craftsman
• Proficiency in the use of conventional measuring and testing equipment
• Ideally, experience working with 3D coordinate measuring machines
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and its relevant standards
• Confident handling of MS Office applications
• Shift readiness
