Accountant (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for a full-time financial accountant (m/f/d) as soon as possible for one of our client companies at the Bruchköbel location.

Tasks

• Independently managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Checking, assigning, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
• Monitoring of payment transactions, the dunning process, and open items
• Assistance with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation and Provision of Documents for Auditors and Tax Advisors
• Close collaboration with external partners such as auditors and tax advisors
• Further Development and Optimization of Existing Accounting and Controlling Processes
• Support for special business projects and the further development of key business metrics
• Handling selected human resources management tasks during vacation and other periods of absence

requirements

• Completed business training, ideally with additional training in financial accounting (IHK) or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in financial accounting
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and tax law
• Proficiency in using common accounting software solutions and MS Office
• Experience with Datev
• A structured, independent, and responsible approach to work
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking
• Interest in taking on more responsibility in the future and continuing to develop both professionally and personally
