Job description

We are currently seeking a strategic purchaser (m/f/d) for our client in Freiburg to start immediately.

(Annual salary up to €50,000)

Tasks

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies for specific product categories
• Selection, Evaluation, and Development of National and International Suppliers
• Independently conducting negotiations on prices, contracts, and terms and conditions
• Analysis of procurement markets and identification of opportunities for cost optimization
• Establishing and Maintaining Long-Term Supplier Relationships
• Ensuring the availability of materials in close collaboration with Production, Logistics, and Development
• Conducting solicitations and procurement processes
• Monitoring relevant purchasing metrics and preparing reports
• Participation in cross-functional projects and continuous optimization of purchasing processes

requirements

• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in an industrial setting
• Negotiation skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with suppliers
• Analytical and structured approach to work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
