Job description

On behalf of our client, an internationally active corporation—the global market leader in sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions and a provider of recycling solutions for used packaging and paper products in the Rosenheim area—we are currently seeking a Freight Forwarding Specialist – Transportation Planner ( m/f/d) for direct placement.

Tasks

• The linchpin of logistics and scheduling—especially for organizing all route planning
• Planning of delivery quantities, including monitoring compliance with quantity plans
• Order Acceptance and Entry of Orders into the Computer System 
• Placing Loading Orders
• Preparation and dispatch of loading and delivery notices, as well as delivery slips
• Initial processing of complaints, including entering the complaint cases into the computer system
• Maintaining master data in the IT system, including freight routes and new service locations
• Compilation of all necessary documents, particularly for cross-border
  transport (especially the Annex VII form)
• Monitoring of waste paper inventories at various company locations

requirements

• Completed vocational training in a business-related field, such as freight forwarding (m/f/d)
• Effective schedule management
• Several years of professional experience, ideally gained in the logistics industry as a logistics coordinator (m/f/d)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong team spirit and commitment to service
• A structured and independent work style
• Enjoyment in the continuous improvement of processes
• Shift availability (staggered early shift/late shift until 6:00 p.m. at the latest)
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
