We are looking for a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) for our client in Pforzheim through direct placement.

Tasks

• Independent planning and management of domestic and international land freight shipments for imports and exports
• Organization and handling of less-than-truckload and full-truckload shipments
• Purchasing and Allocating Cargo Space on the Open Freight Market
• Expert support for our customers throughout the entire shipping process
• Close cooperation and coordination with national and international partners and service providers
• Creating and Tracking Shipping Quotes
• Planning and Scheduling of Regional Public Transportation

requirements

• Successful completion of an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or a comparable qualification
• One year or more of professional experience in land transportation scheduling or in the freight forwarding industry
• A good understanding of logistics processes and, ideally, experience in customs matters
• Safe Management of Geographical Conditions in Domestic and International Transportation
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
• Good written and spoken English skills, as well as proficiency in common MS Office applications
