Tasks
- Independently managing the recruiting process for various departments and functional areas—from identifying staffing needs to selecting suitable candidates.
- Professional consulting for executives to collaboratively review job descriptions and determine what requirements are necessary for a successful hire.
- Managing the initial screening of applicants, creating shortlists of qualified candidates, and conducting or facilitating initial interviews and job interviews.
- Coordinating job postings, processing recruitment cases in myHR / SAP SuccessFactors, and working closely with external recruitment and advertising partners.
- Work with the HR team to ensure that requirements under collective bargaining agreements, labor law, and employee participation laws are met in the recruiting process.
- Close collaboration with the works council and the representative for employees with severe disabilities during the recruiting process.
- Managing ongoing hiring processes, deadlines, and pending decisions; setting priorities and driving processes forward.
- Tracking and resolving pending issues.
- Work closely with the entire HR team on ongoing recruiting activities and hiring.
requirements
- Completed vocational training in business or human resources, ideally supplemented by further training in human resources, or a college degree
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in operational recruiting or talent acquisition, including several years of independent end-to-end management of recruiting processes
- Experience in independently managing multiple recruiting and hiring processes simultaneously, as well as a structured and priority-oriented approach to work
- In-depth knowledge of labor law, works council law, and laws governing employees with severe disabilities, as well as experience in working cooperatively and in a spirit of trust with the works council and the representative for employees with severe disabilities
- A confident demeanor and strong consulting skills when interacting with executives at various levels of the organization, as well as the ability to constructively challenge requirements
- A strong hands-on approach, independence, and a solution-oriented work style, combined with a strong sense of responsibility
- A good understanding of people, respectful communication, and the ability to quickly establish a professional rapport with diverse groups of applicants
- Experience working at an industrial company bound by a collective bargaining agreement, as well as knowledge of the chemical industry collective bargaining agreement, is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of all MS Office programs
- Ideally, experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar recruiting systems
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good written and spoken English skills
