Tasks

• Analysis of Procurement Markets for Trends, Risks, and Opportunities
• Analysis of Purchased Component Requirements for Strategic Decisions
• Developing Product Category Strategies with Operational Buyers
• Defining the Framework for Supplier Transactions and Contract Drafting
• Preparing for and conducting annual negotiations with operational buyers
• Management and Further Development of the Supplier Portfolio
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing improvement measures
• Monitoring market and commodity price trends and developing corresponding measures

requirements

• Professional experience in technical B2B procurement, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Business or technical training; additional qualifications (e.g., business administration certificate); a college degree is preferred
• Knowledge of contract and supplier management
• Business fluent in German and English
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., D365) and MS Office
• Analytical thinking, assertiveness, negotiation skills
• A structured, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
