On behalf of our client, located in Trossingen-Schura, we are seeking a Supplier Development Specialist (m/f/d) through direct placement.

(Annual salary up to €90,000—depending on qualifications)

Tasks

• Responsibility for Supplier Development 
• Conducting supplier and process audits on-site at our suppliers’ facilities
• Improving Supplier Quality and Optimizing Processes 
• Understand and communicate specifications and technical requirements
• Advice and support for strategic procurement in supplier selection
• Taking responsibility for ensuring cross-functional collaboration among the relevant departments and suppliers

requirements

• A successfully completed degree in engineering with a major in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, technical training with appropriate continuing education
• Completed training as a process auditor in accordance with VDA 6.3
• Work experience in the automotive industry
• SAP Skills
• A dedicated team player with excellent communication and assertiveness skills
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Strong technical understanding
• Willingness to travel
• Intercultural competence
• German and English, both spoken and written
