Tasks

• Network Design & Management: Planning, configuration, and administration of complex industrial networks (LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN) for our machines and systems
• Compliance & Standards: Supporting the software department in implementing the new EU Machinery Regulation with regard to cybersecurity and network integrity
• Interface Function: Close collaboration with software development and engineering to optimize remote maintenance access and cloud connections
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ensuring high availability of the network infrastructure in production and customer environments, as well as analyzing network outages

requirements

• A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration) with relevant professional experience
• Business-level German and a good command of English for working on international projects
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, routing/switching, and industrial protocols (e.g., PROFINET, OPC UA, MQTT)
