Tasks
- Proper and timely processing of all incoming vendor invoices in compliance with tax and commercial law requirements as well as internal company policies
- Capturing, verifying, assigning accounts to, and posting all incoming invoices
- Processing and monitoring of payment transactions
- Processing the dunning process
- Account Reconciliation and Balance Reconciliation
- Assisting with the processing of travel expenses and projects
- Preparatory Work for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements
- Point of contact for suppliers and internal departments
requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Several years of professional experience in accounts payable, ideally at an international company
- In-depth knowledge of sales tax law
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a strong focus on customer service
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), as well as the Basware accounts payable system
- Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency in spoken and written German and English; knowledge of Polish is a plus
