Tasks
- Preparing SLAs with customers, ensuring cost and budget transparency, and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements, functional strategy, and agreed-upon objectives to support functional management
- Managing and implementing maintenance projects and concepts at the BSW site and other TSS locations
- Collecting and analyzing data from the KPI dashboard, as well as (further) developing the KPI dashboard
- Work within the scope of responsibility of the Maintenance and Reliability Support Service (MRSS) in the BSW Maintenance Department; assist the technical expert
- Further developing methods, tools, and processes, and ensuring quality in line with the global E&M strategy
- Contribute to the analysis of processes and issues, including the development of potential solutions and the identification of opportunities for optimization,
- Supporting the IHM/AM in developing and refining a long-term maintenance strategy
- Training in subject matter and methodological knowledge through counseling sessions, meetings, and workshops
- Point of contact for IH engineers regarding technical diagnostics and consulting, including assistance with selecting methods
- Developing concepts for the further development of maintenance processes and methods for the site as well as across sites within the framework of the TSS
- Representing the department on committees within the Technical Community and in BASF's functional units
requirements
- A completed master's degree in a technical field
- Several years of professional experience in the field of automation technology
- In-depth knowledge of SIMATIC PCS7 and S7
- Experience with PCS7 (SC and APL Library)
- Knowledge of Simatic Batch / Recipe Management
- Proficiency in WinCC, Step7, and TIA Portal
- Experience in panel programming
- Knowledge of bus technology, in particular: PROFIBUS
- MODBUS
- PROFINET
- Experience in programming, fault analysis, and commissioning of bus systems
- Experience with loop checks and the commissioning of automation solutions
- Experience in commissioning Siemens automation components
- Experience in preparing retrospective documentation
- Preferred: Knowledge of field device configuration using HART
- Preferred: Experience in system optimization, e.g., in tuning PID controllers
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
