Tasks
- You will independently manage, configure, and optimize the network infrastructure and digital access control systems in the event environment
- You will be responsible for planning, setting up, and commissioning temporary network solutions for trade shows, events, and gatherings.
- You will analyze and resolve technical issues with network components, IT systems, and admission solutions directly on site—even while events are in progress.
- You will manage network components such as switches, routers, and access points, ensuring consistent compliance with relevant IT security standards
- You will serve as the go-to person for exhibitors, project managers, and internal colleagues for all technical questions related to networking, IT, and systems technology
- You will ensure that technical operations run smoothly and actively contribute to the optimization of existing systems and processes
requirements
- You have completed vocational training in the IT field—for example, as an IT Specialist for System Integration (m/f/d) or an IT Systems Electronics Technician (m/f/d)—or hold a comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience in network technology
- You have practical experience in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of networks, particularly in the areas of routing and switching
- Ideally, you already have experience with IP-based access control, entry control, or camera systems
- Experience in technical support at events, at trade shows, or in working with temporary and dynamic network infrastructures is a plus
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office and a solid understanding of common network protocols
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and are known for your strong commitment to service and customer focus
- You are flexible and willing to work outside of regular business hours as needed for events
