Tasks
As a project manager in the internal sales department, you will work independently to clarify, organize, and prepare quotes with a strong focus on customer needs.
In doing so, you will independently coordinate with the relevant departments and suppliers to discuss potential solutions and use this information to create a coherent and effective proposal for the customer.
Your specific responsibilities include:
- Customer-focused project management for preparing proposals
- Designing machines and systems according to customer specifications
- solution-oriented coordination among internal departments
- Supporting the sales team through technical consulting and the presentation of offers and proposed solutions
- representing the company at trade shows and events
requirements
The customer expects the following from you:
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as an industrial or precision mechanic (m/f/d), construction mechanic/fitter (m/f/d), industrial electronics technician (m/f/d), electronics technician for devices and systems (m/f/d), or similar technical training
- with advanced training to become a mechanical engineering technician (m/f/d) or an industrial foreman in metalworking (m/f/d), or a successfully completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
- Enjoyment of working at the intersection of sales and engineering
- the ability to work independently and in an organized manner in project operations and project management
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Flexibility, strong communication skills, and team spirit
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work (approximately 20–30% of time spent traveling domestically and internationally)
