Tasks

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Responsibility for day-to-day financial accounting and account reconciliation
• Preparation and review of advance sales tax returns and other tax filings
• Reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger accounts, as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Monitoring of payment transactions and support for liquidity management
• Preparing Documents for Auditors and Tax Advisors
• Support for the optimization and further development of accounting processes
• Point of contact for internal departments on all accounting matters

requirements

• Completed business training with additional training as an accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and financial statement preparation
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and tax law
• Proficiency in using common accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Structured, independent and careful way of working
