Job description

We are looking for a PLC programmer (m/f/d) to join a renowned company near Gera as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Project planning and programming in the field of plant automation in the chemical industry (process control systems)
• Adaptation of existing software to changed requirements
• Creation and editing of plant and process visualizations
• Performing functional tests and commissioning
• Training of operating personnel
• Supporting maintenance in troubleshooting measurement and control technology (MSR)
• Participation in the continuous improvement process
• Creation of technical documents (e.g., specifications, operating instructions)
• Project work also in interdisciplinary teams

requirements

• Initial professional experience in a comparable position is desirable.
• Excellent PLC knowledge and technical expertise in measurement, control, and regulation technology as well as sensor technology (preferably ABB)
• Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of occupational safety in the field of work and in handling hazardous substances (e.g., acids and alkalis) is desirable.
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Enjoyment of independent project work and teamwork 
• Willingness to work day shifts with fixed on-call times (on-call duty)
