Job description

 For a well-known customer in the region we are looking for you as Head of Technical Purchasing (m/f/d) in temporary employment.

Tasks

• Management of all purchasing activities
• Organizational/technical guidance for employees within the purchasing department 
• Targeted and successful execution of supplier negotiations 
• Implementation of supplier controlling; supplier evaluations and the preparation of value and cost analyses
• Realization of the specified target agreement by the management / production management
• Reporting to the management and production management
• Monitoring of spare parts dispatch, organization of inventories
• Reduction in the average storage period
• Increase in stock turnover / material handling - demand-oriented activities

• You are characterized by self-motivation and flexibility in the processing and implementation of complex tasks.
• A high level of commitment and initiative as well as a forward-looking mindset are a matter of course for you.
• Ideally you have knowledge of the metal industry or commercial vehicle industry or vehicle construction
• A master craftsman / technician or completed university education is an advantage
• Appropriate resilience, social skills, ability to work in a team, structured approach, strong communication skills, self-confident demeanor
• A strong technical understanding represents further characteristics
