Tasks
- Performing physiotherapy treatments to alleviate symptoms and promote recovery
- Creation of individual therapy plans based on medical prescriptions and patient needs
- Advising and educating patients on disease-specific topics as well as on correct posture and exercise
- Application of various physiotherapy techniques, such as manual therapy, physiotherapy, massage, and electrotherapy
- Conducting functional tests to assess movement functions and progress
- Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care
- Documentation of treatments, progress, and results in the patient file
- Prevention of complaints through targeted exercises and training programs
- Supporting patients after surgery or injuries in regaining mobility
requirements
- Completed training as a physical therapist or a degree in physical therapy
- State recognition and authorization to practice the profession
- Experience in performing physiotherapy treatments (ideally in a specific area such as orthopedics, neurology, sports therapy, or geriatrics)
- In-depth knowledge of the application of various therapeutic methods and techniques
- Ability to create individual treatment plans and document treatment progress
- Empathy and communication skills when dealing with patients of all ages
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Sense of responsibility and independent working style
- Flexibility and willingness to pursue further training
- Ideally, experience working with modern therapeutic devices and technologies
- Good written and spoken German
