Tasks

• Creation and preparation of print data for digital and offset printing
• Prepress technical checking and processing of print jobs according to customer specifications
• Checking print data for technical requirements such as resolution, color spaces, and bleed
• Color matching and proof creation in close cooperation with customers and printing companies
• Creation of layouts and vectorization of graphics for various printing processes
• Setting up printing machines and ensuring the technical requirements for the printing process are met
• Coordination with the printing company and other partners to ensure smooth implementation of projects
• Optimization of production processes through the use of the latest software tools and technologies
• Checking print quality and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
• Documentation and archiving of print jobs and data
• Remuneration depending on qualifications

requirements

• Completed training as a media designer or a comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of prepress, especially in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with preflight checks, color matching, and the creation of print templates
• Technical understanding of printing processes and the ability to optimize data for printing
• Knowledge of printing technology (digital printing, offset printing, screen printing, etc.) is an advantage
• Confident use of print management and workflow software (e.g., Prinergy, Esko, Apogee)
• Good understanding of color spaces (CMYK, Pantone) and color synchronization
• Ability to work in a team, creativity, and precise working methods
• Very good written and spoken German
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
