Tasks
- Responsibility for the strategic development and optimization of selected product groups, taking into account market requirements, customer needs, profitability, and growth potential
- Management and implementation of product and product line projects in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Channel Marketing
- Analysis of product lines, markets, and competitors to develop well-founded recommendations for action
- Preparing regular reports for product groups and evaluating new products based on defined KPIs
- Initiating, planning, and managing innovation projects from the initial product idea through to successful market launch
- Review and evaluation of new product proposals, product optimizations, and customer- and channel-specific development requirements
- Development and ongoing maintenance of knowledge regarding the market, suppliers, and product assortment
- Coordinating production runs, product approvals, tastings, and new product launches to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Planning and coordinating photo shoots, as well as communicating changes to the product lineup, new product listings, product delistings, and product changes
requirements
- A successfully completed degree in business administration, nutritional science, or a comparable business qualification
- Several years of experience in product management, preferably in the FMCG, food, or sales-related sectors
- A thorough understanding of product line management, product development, profitability analyses, and KPI management
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with various stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in working with analyses, presentations, and key metrics
- SAP skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and good to very good English proficiency
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills combined with a structured, independent approach to work
- Team orientation, flexibility, and a passion for food, markets, and innovative product concepts
- Class B driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for work
