Job description

We are seeking a technical buyer (m/f/d) for our client, a friendly manufacturing company in Friedrichsdorf, who has a technical understanding of drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing processes—for a direct placement position.

Tasks

• Responsible for procuring goods and services in collaboration with the purchasing team
• Conducting market analyses and identifying potential suppliers
• Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contracts
• Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with our quality standards
• Close collaboration with internal departments to plan and meet demand
• Maintaining and continuously expanding existing supplier relationships

requirements

• Completed vocational training in a business or technical field with relevant additional qualifications, or a degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing or procurement
• In-depth knowledge of materials management and practical experience with comparing quotes
• Excellent technical understanding of drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing processes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
