Tasks

• Ensuring export compliance in collaboration with the customs and logistics contact person
• Handling of import and export orders worldwide, with a focus on exports to North and South America
• Handling of air, ocean, and ground freight shipments
• Ensuring that operational and logistical processes are carried out on time and to a high standard
• Creating Preference Calculations and Intrastat Declarations
• International communication with customers, subsidiaries, and freight forwarders

requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of export/import, ideally in mechanical engineering
• Completed business training and continuing education, e.g., as a customs and foreign trade specialist
• Independent and structured way of working
• Excellent knowledge of customs clearance
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Initiative, assertiveness, communication skills, and the ability to work well with others
